Pilates beginner videos
What is Pilates? Two specific videos focused on ‘Pilates for beginners’.
What is the difference between Pilates and Yoga? What is Pilates good for? All your questions answered in simple, non-technical, easy to follow videos.
Video 1. “Intro to Pilates for new beginners”. In this 20 minute video I explain the 5 principles of Pilates and demonstrate the basic foundation movements and body positions. I also discuss the similarities and difference with yoga and answer all your common questions. Note: this is not a workout video. Perfect for anyone new to Pilates or considering starting a class or private session.
Video 2. “New beginners Pilates Class”. This 48 minute class is very much a slow and steady first introduction to Pilates, applying the information discussed in Video 1. Lots of clear instruction, safe body alignment and tips for body awareness. Perfect for anyone starting or returning to gentle exercise.
